I bought this HP Pavilion DV6-2162NR 15.6-Inch Black Laptop–Up to 4.25 Hours of Battery Life for my spouse to swap her 3 year outdated Toshiba. It's 100% her computer but she spots anything technical in our lives on me and then holds me accountable for its performance. My spouse is brutal on electronics and her laptop is no exception. The Toshiba had a Very hard everyday living and ticked along flawlessly right up until the past few months. Right after wasting $200 on a failed repair (tricky drive) I decided it was more affordable to substitute it than to nurse it along. I in the beginning went shopping for an additional Toshiba and frankly, I really feel like I will be writing a five star evaluation to get a Toshiba if it hadn't come down to some $150 price distinction. I was ready to make use of the competing Toshiba at a retailer, but when I went to Amazon I identified this HP. Nearly identical in results and appearance; aside from a couple of keyboard manage attributes they had been the identical.

I acquired the HP, Amazon shipped it FedEX also it arrived to Fairbanks Alaska in less than 48 several hours (used normal shipping, almost nothing special). She loves it, charged it up and it performs flawlessly and much far better than my 8 month old Dell XPS (Argh, in no way once again…prolonged story). I have not attempted to load Workplace 2007 nevertheless, but suspect from my investigation on 64 little bit models, it will do the job fine. Neither a single of us cares for the bubble plan and thinks it detracts through the professional appearance on the relaxation from the finish (petty, I know).

The mouse pad performs flawlessly and I especially much like the keyboard layout and sense in the keys. I Definitely just like the number pad with no having to get a 17+ inch program which is obviously normal now.

4 USB ports, 1 HDMI output, a wonderful LCD display and Graphics card…zero to complain about. Oh, and Windows seven operates extremely nicely.

I'll statement back again if it doesn't keep up to the flagrant neglect my spouse generally inflicts on her electronics, but as of for now she is rightfully treating like a shiny new sports car!
